Bible Studies
Adult, youth and children
Sunday School
Classes are available every Sunday morning.
Seasonal Bible Studies
that focus on the birth of Jesus, the death of Jesus, and the resurrection of
Jesus are held during the Christmas and Easter seasons each year.
Youth Studies
are held every Sunday evening for young people in High School and Middle School.
Pastor Classes
are held each Spring for people who are making the decision to be baptized and
join the church.
Prayer and Spiritual Growth
Sunday Morning Prayer Vigil
meets every Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. in the Pastor’s Prayer room praying the
Psalms, Prayer requests, and for the Church.
Christian Women’s Fellowship (CWF)
is divided into several different groups meeting at different times and places.
CWF offers a wide array of events, activities and spiritual growth opportunities
for the women of the church.
Disciples Men’s Fellowship (DMF)
meets the second Saturday of each month in the Fellowship Hall at 8:30 a.m. for
breakfast, prayer and performs service work to the community and the church.
Christian Youth Fellowship
for high school students who learn how to express their faith, pray for each
other and others, how to share their faith, to lead and plan worship, and
develop a life-long spirituality.
Chi-Rho Fellowship
for middle school students to learn about their faith and what it means to be
Christian, how to live as a Christian, and what it means to become one in Jesus
Christ.
Vacation Bible School
meets for one week each summer and is designed for all ages. There is a
children’s program and theme that is designed to teach the love of God in Jesus
Christ, a light supper is served and both adult and youth bible studies are
offered.
Caring and Sharing
Prayer Chains
is available both by phone and e-mail. The prayer chain quickly and effectively
shares with dedicated prayer warriors the joys and concerns of fellow members
for their own families, close friends, or the world and lifts them up to God in
prayer.
Meals on Wheels,
every Wednesday volunteers leave from the church to deliver prepared,
nutritional meals to seniors in the community.
NEED
is a community outreach program which we participate in through donations of can
goods, money, time and talent to help the poor and lower income families in
Northeast Tarrant County.
Outreach Ministry Opportunities
are available. We offer help to Jack C. Binion Elementary School, women’s
shelters, child abuse advocates and many others. For more information contact
our Outreach Committee as to how you can help.
Bereavement and Illness Ministries
are available to help families who may be dealing with the death of a loved one
or the serious illness of a friend or family member through meals, driving,
running errands, and in whatever other way is needed.
Ministries
Worship Ministry
plan, organize, prepare and presents all worship services, events, and
experiences held at Richland Hills Christian Church.
Education Ministry
plan, organize, supervise, train, and coordinate all educational opportunities
at Richland Hills Christian Church, with primary focus on the youth and children
of the church; but with an eye to the educational needs of all members of all
ages.
Membership Ministry
finds ways to involve the membership in the life of Richland Hills Christian
Church by planning, organizing and implementing spiritual growth programs,
prayer, Bible studies, and helping all members find their place and calling
within the body of Christ.
Fellowship Ministry
develops, plans, prepares and presents events designed to strengthen the
fellowship, friendships, and love among all the members of Richland Hills
Christian Church.
Evangelism Ministry
plans, organizes, and implements programs, events, and in cooperation with the
Worship Ministry, services that will share the Good News of Jesus Christ and the
ministries of Richland Hills Christian Church throughout our community.
Stewardship Ministry
is the vigilant caretaker of the many gifts and offerings that are shared by
people to promote and fund the many and varied ministries of Richland Hills
Christian Church.
Property Ministry
plans, cares for, maintains and improves the physical building and properties of
Richland Hills Christian Church.
Outreach Ministry
disperses a tithing of all monies received by Richland Hills Christian Church as
well as coordinating and providing members with many hands-on opportunities to
reach out to those in need in our community.
Music Ministry
There are a wide variety of musical opportunities for those attending Richland
Hills Christian Church. There are opportunities for all ages, musical abilities
and taste including:
The Sanctuary Choir, Handbell Choir,
& Contemporary Praise Band.
If
music is not for you, we also offer drama opportunities through readers’ theater
and dramatic presentations.
